An amazing night at The Cluny 2 last weekend. Record numbers in the audience (we squeezed 138 people into that room!), free mince pies, great performance of part of Claude Werner's Christmas Suite, Zita Frith intoduced to our regular audience, well cool solos from Pete, Paul, Alex, Peter, Jamie, Niall, Pav, Chris, Michael, Guy and a fantastic soli in Crusin' For A Bluesin' by the sax section... all in all a fantastic night enjoyed by all!

Have a great Christmas and New Year... we've got lost coming up in 2012... hopefully see you there!

SSBB have moved...! We are now rehearsing in our new venue - The Punch Bowl pub in Jesmond. On the last Thursday of every month we will be holding an open rehearsal for you to come along to and check the band out!

SSBB will be collaborating with Newcastle Musical Theatre Company in the Winter of 2011 to work on an exciting project which will bring together a mix of big band and show music. Stay tuned for more details...
